How long can I expect my roof to last?
The condition and lifespan of your roof depends on the type of roof you have, as well as your environment and maintenance. According to the American Society of Home Inspectors, asphalt shingles last around 15-20 years, wood shingles or shakes last 10-40, clay or concrete tiles 20+ years, and metal roofing ranges from 15-40+ years.
